‘E Koro…’ 🥀
A visual tribute to the strength, sacrifice, and spirit of our tīpuna who served in World War I.
This unique ANZAC print honours our koro, our warriors, our protectors.

🌀 A poppy-shaped tiki — a fusion of remembrance and whakapapa.
🔴 Red, the colour of both the poppy and Tūmatauenga, god of war.
🌟 Within the tiki: the stars of the Australian and New Zealand flags, a kiwi and kangaroo — representing the ANZAC bond.
👁 The silver eyes represent the aged wisdom and mana of our returned soldiers.
🗣 Surrounding the mouth: "Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou" — placed with intention to show the tiki is speaking these sacred words: "We will remember them."
