Hinekauorohia is known as the goddess of reflection and sacred waters 🌊 

This design uses Paua sourced from Aotearoa and Bamboo to create one of our most beautiful signature pieces ✨ The paua is is tinted to give off a blue affect!

The groves down the middle of the moko kauae are shaped as fins, depicting the the past (upper fin), the present (middle fin), and the future (lower fin)- all important elements to consider when in reflection. The engraved-filled spirals represent the swirling sacred waters used to ground one’s self when reconnecting with our taiao (environment) and our tupuna (ancestors)💙

Hinekauorohia inspires us to reconnect with our Awa, Roto, Puna or Moana. She also encourages us to embed the practice of reflection into our everyday lives so the growth we require and the lessons at hand flow more fluidly 🌀
